Memorial Day 2013

 My Loves <3 p="">
 Bathing beauty

Memorial Day weekend was a BUSY few days.  The weather was beautiful and the pool finally opened.  We went to the Crone's for a BBQ first (which was where these pictures were taken), then ended our day across the road at the Zierhoffer's beach party.  The kids were definitely beat but played with kids at the beach until it was almost dark!  A great day if you ask me!!

Spring Soccer 2013

Another season of Soccer is in the books and so ends Brody's third season.  He really enjoyed his coach and Ashley was on his team, but I am happy that he gets to play in the next age group, U6 for the next season.  He really likes playing games and practices everyday in the front yard (and I think he looks handsome in his uniform!).

Mother's Day 2013

Jon and the kiddos took me to Ram's Head for Brunch on Mother's Day this year.  The weather was just AMAZING and we had a wonderful time walking around downtown and playing at the park.  I wish there were more pictures but we were having so much fun, I forgot!

The Addition...

The source of my daily panic attacks.  Our house is a disaster area!
Still on schedule for an August move in!

Brody's Big Bike

 No training wheels!!!

Daddy finally let go and Brody rode like a champ.  He still has a little problem getting on and starting the bike, but we'll take what we can get!  Now that he can ride, he thinks he can ride anywhere he wants (usually to the Hudson's house down the street!)

Beach Park

Today was absolutely gorgeous so we made our way to the Beach Park while Daddy and Papa golfed.  Brody made it there and back on his scooter and Ali walked in her full Princess outfit (which she insisted she wear).  She stopped to say hi to every person she encountered and even spun around to show off her dress when people told her how much they liked her outfit (such a ham!).  They had a blast playing in the sand and playground!  I tried to get a good picture of the two of them, but 1.  didn't realize my lens had a smudge on it and 2. took pictures in weird light.  Of couse after I got the camera situated, the kids wanted NOTHING to do with me taking their picture.  The trip home consisted of me chasing Ali in the road as she ran crying bc she wanted to ride the scooter and yelling at Brody to stop playing in the storm drains.  Taking them anywhere is exhausting!

Yo Ho Ho

Going on a treasure hunt with his first mate
Checking the treasure map he made

The two of them couldn't have been cuter when they were playing pirate the other day.  Brody meticulously made a map with a stream, cave, and even Haunted Blueberry Hill.  He enjoyed barking orders at Ali and strangely enough, she listened!  They both had swords and screamed "Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of Rum" in the front yard as they were hunting for the box of treasure Brody hid in a bush.  They are so stinkin' cute sometimes!!!
