First Part: NY

Brody and Davey in the new firetruck.

Trying to push ALL of the buttons.

Brody and I went up to NY first for my father's retirement party in Johnstown. We got there on Wednesday and left on Monday morning for RI. We had a great time relaxing on the back deck at my mom's house, playing at the party, and riding on REAL firetrucks with the sirens and lights on and everything! This video is just the tail end of a twenty minute ordeal. Brody kept bringing me the hose to squirt him, then he would say "more" so I would keep doing it...over and over again...

Seasoned Veteren

As many of you already know, Brody and I left for NY and RI on July 22. We picked up Jon in RI and then returned from NY on the 9th. I must say that Brody was AWESOME in the car. He read books, took naps, played with trucks, and ate snacks. The only mishap was when he dipped my keys in the rest stop toilet on the way up to NY when it was just the two of us. The trip to NY took about 6 1/2 hours, the trip to RI from NY was about 3 1/2 hours each way, but the last leg (of course) home took about eight hours becuase of construction in PA. As much as Jon and I wanted to drive the car off the bridge, Brody really held it together.

National Zoo

I know this is from a long time ago, but I thought I would post them before I forgot to! The Saturday before Brody and I left for our trip, we all went to the zoo in DC. The weather was awesome and we all had a really great time.

Chesapeake Beach Water Park

About 35 minutes away, there is a cute little water park that has alot of pools for Brody to play in. We went last THursday with Mandy and Ashley. Needless to say, they had a blast.

WILD!

This is just a taste of what it is like to watch Brody during the day for one minute...notice the finale. By the way, this is somewhat tame!

Monster

Brody has recently started acting like a monster, literally. He makes a monster voice, spreads his legs apart and shakes his hands up and down and chases you around the house. Its kind of funny...Today he refused to take off his monster towel and played monster in it all morning. Here are some of the pictures. The funniest part was when he put it on his head, he searched for my camera and yelled "CHEESE" because he wanted me to take his picture! He is so shy:)

Animal Land

Grampie and GrandmaMe took us to Animal Land for the afternoon. Its a little zoo with lots of different animals right by my Mom's house. We had alot of fun riding on the safari train, petting baby goats and deer, and running around the park feeding animals and playing in the old west village. Marie brought her neice and nephew Megan and Davey, they were a BIG help with Brody and made the day extra fun! I took alot of pictures but I thought that I would spare everyone:)
