Sick...again!

The little munchkins were sick for the 1000th time this year.  They both had hand, foot, and mouth disease.  They slept on the couch together and then, the next day, laid on the floor together all day and watched TV.  It was very pathetic!  Thankfully, they are on the mend and back to destroying the house and playing with each other.

MVP

Football season has come to an end (thank God)!  Finally, we have our Sundays to ourselves again (or at least until next sports season).  Brody earned the MVP medal in the last game for scoring his first touchdown.  He came a long way this season from playing in the dirt with his mouthguard and running the wrong way!  He was so proud of himself and we were too!!!

Ali had quite the fiesta to celebrate her 2nd birthday.  We had a gorgeous day and lots of great friends to share it with.  Even Mimi, Papa, Nana, and Uncle Nate came down to visit!!!  Nana went all out with the decorations and cupcakes.  The kids (and adults) had so much fun in the bouce house, definately a big hit:)

Brody's First Trip to the ER

Brody fell off the chair during lunchtime at daycare and cut open his eyebrow pretty good.  Just to be on the safe side, I brought him into the ER to get it looked at.  Low and behold, three nurses, a doctor, a sedative and a tightly wrapped blanket later, he was all stitched up good as new (I was the one who needed the sedative!!!).  The steri-strips just fell off today and the scar looks great!

Just before 7 scary stories, building a nest, and peeing outside 15 times (because it's the only time he's allowed to do it).  He made it outside with daddy all night and now wants to move his bedroom out there:)

Jon's First Triathlon

Daddy's first Triathlon at City Dock in Annapolis.  He finished 1h 34m which was top 17th in his age group and 117 overall (there were about 1300 participants)!  We are so proud of he and Vin!!!
