Fun weekend with Nana

Mommy and B
Caught in the act

Thanks for the Giraffe hat Brody

Ali's new headband

Getting ready for some apples and cereal

Nana came to visit since Daddy was out of town on his golf retreat. We had a great time hanging out with the kids and getting thier pictures taken (which proved to be a bit stressfull!!). As per Nana's request, there are no pictures of her here becuase all of the pictures were before she got ready, but there's plenty of the kiddos!

Exersaucer

Hey Mama!

I like it too!!

...but I'm too big!

I got out the old exersaucer to take over the livingroom yet again (much to Ali and Brody's delight). I think its a hit!

Sneakin' Nuffins

Tonight as I was giving Ali her bottle upstairs in her room, Brody was busy downstairs sneaking pumpkin muffins that I got for dessert. The sneakiest part is that he got them down off the toaster oven and was taking bites out of the bottoms so that he wouldn't get caught but he got BUSTED by mom! He was so scared when I caught him that he ran to me and happily called out, "Hi Mommy!". Such a sneak...

Learning Spanish

Our first "homework"

Brody started his spanish classes at Daycare this week and so far so good! Sra. Adriana comes once a week for an hour. Brody loved the songs and was walking around the house saying, "Hola mommy" all night. They even sent home "homework" for us to do for next week. Maybe he can translate for me at parent-teacher conferences:)

Fashion Show

Putting out a fire (yes, the hose is attatched to the jacket)

Oops! Fell over!

Kicking up a storm

Showing off my baby blues

Baaaa...

The infamous boots...

...and hat

Brody and Alison both got new clothes today, just very different syles. Brody has been begging me for a firehat and boots to go with his firecoat our friend Sarah gave to us. Nana sent him a firehat that has a siren on it (that only turns off if you flip a switch...) and the fire rain boots. Obviously they were quite a hit. I am so proud that his Halloween outfit is practical, not so with Ali's!

It's getting a little chilly here in the mornings so I got two hats for Ali to wear in the mornings when we drop of Brody and also for the winter. I thought she looked adorable in her hat and legwarmers, but of course, I am biased:)

New Foods

Ali in her big girl highchair
Hmmmm...This is different...

Get it out!

Big brother Brody helping out

Ali had her 4 month doctor's appt with Gwen and she is doing very well. She has hit all milestones and then some. She weighs 15 lbs, 0oz. and is 25 inches which are both in the 75 percentile. She also suggested that I start solids this week because of her head control and her weight, so I did just that. She was leary about the rice cereal (naturally) and giggled when I put the bananas in her mouth. Brody was very excited that Ali was actually eating with us at dinner time and even helped me feed her. That helpfulness was short lived because shortly after, he started to dump his drink into his dinner making a huge mess. I guess everyone needs attention at dinnertime!

Ali 4 Months Old

It's been four short months since our princess was born. She is getting too big too fast. I took out the exersaucer and highchair today and put her in both. She looked so old:( I think that I am grounding her from getting any older. We get the official weight and height at the doctor's visit tomorrow (along with alot of shots). I'm sure she's below average in height and above in weight...and so it begins.
