His new favorite toy is his lacrosse stick and ball. We had to pry it out of his hands to go to bed! It also had to ride with us to the grocery store. Here is a little preview of the destruction that this piece of sporting equipment has in store for us.

Backyard fun!

My mom came down this weekend and of course, true to form, spoiled Brody rotten. Here are some pictures of him with his new water table and sprinkler. You will probably also note that there is a wardrobe change. After we changed him out of his wet clothes and into a t-shirt )no shorts) he went back outside and played in the water again! He was slightly obsessed.

Popsicle

So I gave Brody a popsicle after dinner tonight. He loved the taste of it but hated how cold it was. It was ysterical watching him eat it, scream and cry, then eat it again. You can see the disgust on his face in the pictures...

Go Sox!

THis past weekend Jon had got tickets for us to go to Boston ALONE to visit our friends and see a Red Sox game. It was awesome!!!! We dropped Brody off at Mimi's house in RI for the weekend and then we were free to go to Beantown. First of all, Jon suprised me with a hotel (I thought that we were staying at our friends apartment), then he suprised me with a massage and manicure the next morning with Jill. The seats to the game were amazing and we had a great dinner after, minus the monsoon that hit us. All in all, a great early 30th birthday/mother's day extravaganza weekend. Most of the pictures are of Boston, but a few of them are of Brody at the park on Mother's day at Oakland Beach, RI. We went to Iggy's for some clamcakes and chowder...Yum!

What a Mess!

Brody has pink eye so he looks pretty bad to begin with. Now that he feeds himself with utensils, meal time is quite a mess. Here are some pictures of the poor little guy with yogurt ALL over himself (and the floor...). By the way...the little meatball gained more weight and now weighs 27.5 lbs. No wonder I have back pain!

Brushing my teeth

When we started brushing Brody's teeth, he was only mildly interested. Now that he gets to do it himself (with a little assistance from mom) with his own toothpaste, and he gets to stand on the toilet (which he gets on all alone), it has turned into a 10 to 20 minute affair. At least he'll have fresh minty breath! Mimi, you should be very happy:)
