Snow Day

Yup, that's a pumpkin...from Halloween.  Brody pulled it out from behind the shed.  Gross!
How we handle 1 inch of snow down here in Maryland!  As you can see, Brody's pants are a little short (I haven't let out the hem from last year).  That didn't stop him from playing outside for an hour in 20 degree weather in the snow.  Alison on the other hand (she insisted on wearing Brody's ski goggles) was inside in 10 minutes...so my child!

Swim

 Notice the googles
 Total excitement

I wasn't going to sign Alison up for swim this year as she just hit the cut off for Level 1, however, after seeing Brody have his first swim lesson she INSISTED on having swim lessons.  She screamed, banged on the glass, layed on the ground and tried to run into the pool area the whole time during his first lesson.  Needless to say, she was ready and she loves it!  This week, her teacher was a man and she was shamelessly flirting with him!  She jumped in the water, went under, basically anything he asked her to!  Hopefully we'll have 2 swimmers this summer and make my life a little easier at the pool!

Goooooooaaaaaallll!

Brody's new soccer goal he got from Mimi was a huge hit!  He and Daddy spend alot of time practicing for spring soccer.  Just needs to get warm again!

Adios Dipaers!

The only way she would stay on the potty
Brody was such a great big brother to read her a book in the bathroom!

It almost killed me, but many pee pee accidents on the floor, and two carpet poops later (one of which was during a party we were having), I can officially announce that she is FULLY potty trained.  Pull ups only at bed and nap.  She all of a sudden decided to go with it and hasn't had an accident in over 2 weeks.  I can't express how happy I am that we a diaper free household!

Science Experiment

A little baking soda and vinegar experiment made Brody a happy scientist!  He was soooo excited to make his "dictions" (predictions) as to what was going to happen!

Alison Sassy Pants

 Always naked

Homeless chic, a look put together all by herself
Screaming at Brody (per the usual)
Dinner with goggles (she didn't take these off for 4 days)

Alison has continued to entertian us with her fiesty attitude and hysterical antics.  She just got her big girl bed which was am unexpected success.  She even takes naps in it without an issue!  Brody and Ali have a love/hate relationship as most siblings do.  She frequently destroys/ruins/ grabs/bothers whatever he is playing with which infuriates Brody!  She loves screaming NO to most anything and has perfected a good tantrum.  She is now fully potty trained but the four days of "naked potty boot camp" almost sent me to a home.  SHe is SOOOOO stubborn when she doesn't want to do something!  She is growing up WAY too fast!

Ali got a bunch of dress up stuff.  This was the only time she wore it!  The Bubble Guppies shirt on the other hand...that is the first shirt we pick out of the wash!
Every 2 year old needs pink pumps
Better late than never I guess!  Our computer has not been cooperating lately and it has become quite an undertaking to upload pictures and update the blog.  Our Christmas was wonderful again this year!  We were lucky enough to have Nana, Mimi, and Papa join us for the weekend prior the big day.  Brody was VERY excited this year while Alison is still on the fence with the whole thing.  On Chirstmas morning, she only wanted to open one thing, then began to cry because she was overwhelmed.  Brody was more than happy to open them for her!  I also think we ended Christmas 5 pounds heavier after homemade meals of pierogies, glumke, desserts, tamales, jambalaya, and sweets!  Not that I am complaining though...
