Brody's First Trip to the ER

 My little trooper
Waiting for the Doctor to glue him back up

Brody fell off the chair during lunchtime at daycare and cut open his eyebrow pretty good.  Just to be on the safe side, I brought him into the ER to get it looked at.  Low and behold, three nurses, a doctor, a sedative and a tightly wrapped blanket later, he was all stitched up good as new (I was the one who needed the sedative!!!).  The steri-strips just fell off today and the scar looks great!

Backyard Camping

Sitting around the campfire, enjoying some late night beverages
Getting ready for bed (at 10 pm!)
Just before 7 scary stories, building a nest, and peeing outside 15 times (because it's the only time he's allowed to do it).  He made it outside with daddy all night and now wants to move his bedroom out there:)

Jon's First Triathlon

Daddy's first Triathlon at City Dock in Annapolis.  He finished 1h 34m which was top 17th in his age group and 117 overall (there were about 1300 participants)!  We are so proud of he and Vin!!!

City Dock Kids Festival

 Ali enjoying the lego exhibit

Brody building the world's biggest tower

A few weeks ago we all ventured into downtown Annapolis to City Dock for a Children's Festival.  As you can see, the legos were a huge hit as well as the band (that Alison danced to and entertained the audience for quite a while).

Lane Family 2012

Our first professional family photo shoot!  I think they came out pretty good:)

Leeeeeeeeet's Play Ball!!

 So, how 'bout that nap...???
For the love of God, CHEESE already!

Alison and Brody's first MLB game went, well, as expected.  It was pretty warm out and our seats were right out in the sun.  Of course we were at the end of the row and interrupted everyone every time we had to get food, go for a walk, go to the bathroom (I'm sure you get the idea).  They did a pretty good job considering how tired they were (from lack of naps and 2 hours of football).  We'll try again very soon (but maybe get shaded seats!).

Four Wheelin'

Thanks for the four wheeler Mimi!!!  Ali is hilarious trying to keep up with Brody's tractor!
 Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Our Updated Playground

Daddy, Uncle Rayson and Papa staked out the lumber and Jon and I hauled 7 cubic yards of playground mulch to create a work of art!  Since then, we have added a play house (Alison's birthday present) and MANY trucks to dig.  The kids LOVE IT!!!
