Mimi and Brody on the National Mall enjoying the beautiful April weather.

Mimi came to visit for a few days last week and we had so much fun!  One adventurous day we ventured into DC to visit the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.  Thank goodness we went early because it became super busy with families who were also on spring break.  Brody LOVED the museum, especially the dinosaur bones and mummies!  The Metro was also a big hit.  We will definately be visiting the Air and Space Museum very soon.



The Iverson's Visit

Pete, Jill, and Stella flew down for a visit.  Alison was less than enthralled with her arranged friendship until the last 10 minutes when she decided to allow Pete to hold the two of them at the same time.  Jill took pity and ran with me in the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler in DC (at a much slower pace then she is used to I'm sure).  I finished in 1:40 which not so shabby for my first race!!  Looking forward to our next visit!!
