Soccer time!

Brody and his coach

Brody had his first soccer practice/game last Saturday. He was so excited to be on the field with his uniform, cleats, and shin guards. He was NOT so happy to run drills and follow directions. He even asked me, "When do we get to play soccer Mom?" It was hilarious to watch the kids chase the ball, play in the dirt, cry, and run around aimlessly. Hopefully this Saturday goes a little better! (Pictures are curtosy of Nana. I am NOT responsible!!!)

Ali has finally starting making attempts at walking. God forbid she does anything she doesn't want to do (this should be fun in 12 years). She does however talk non-stop! She says all sorts of things and even sings jingle bells and the clean up song! She continues to be a big girl weighing in at 25 lbs and 32 inches tall. I hope she enjoys it while she can! It's so funny to see the two of them play together now. Ali completely antagonizes him until he melts down (like taking the toy he is playing, smashing his lego tower, stealing monkey, and rolling around with his blanket). It usually ends poorly though...

Big Guy

Brody is in love with his big kid bike and he has been riding it everyday now that the weather has cooled off some. He can even ride it all the way to the park and back! His favorite is riding with Jon around the block, he's getting too big!

Bumblebee

SPOILER ALERT!! Brody received his Halloween costume in the mail and he will NOT take it off. He even wears the mask in the car (much to the amusement of passing cars!). Hope he is not too sick of it in 6 weeks...

Brody found a marker during naptime. Fortunately, he just colored on his legs, hands and face and not the walls or furniture!
