What a beautiful Easter Sunday. We all got up and discovered the Easter Bunny had delivered 2 very well appointed baskets to our house. He also left out eggs with treats inside while we went to church. Ali was a complete angel while we were out, and Brody decided he didn't like his button down shirt and was unbuttoning it as we walked around downtown. It was very attractive. We were able to get a few pictures of the little ones before their outfits were ruined. It was a fabulous Easter (especially the yummy dinner we shared with Uncle Nate, Mandy, Vin, Ashley, Jason, Catherine, and Anna).

Flirting (a common occurance)

I bravely took both kids for their 3 year and 9 month checkups at the doctors office. They are both doing very well (minus the shots they both got where Brody asked me in the car, "Hey Mom! What's the big idea?"). Alison is about 23 lbs and 28 inches (both in the 90th % for her age) and Brody weighs 36 lbs and is 37 inches (which is about 60th % and 50th % respectively). I got no shocking news when the Dr. told me Brody will probably be 5'10" give or take an inch. In fact, he'll beat every other male in our families if that is indeed true! Alison still isn't crawling but she rolls everywhere and sits in one spot for about an hour playing with just about anything she can reach. She eats lots of fingerfoods by herself and loves bananas the best. She has two bottom teeth dying to poke through anyday (at least I pray it's anyday, she is absolutely miserable!!) and is still taking two naps. She is starting to develop quite the loud personality and does just about anything to get your attention including screaming, clapping, tricks, and flirting. They are both so much fun at this age!!!

Tricks

Alison has recently acquired some tricks. She plays peek-a-boo, so big, and flirts constantly. I tried to get her to do it on camera, but to no avail. The only thing I think she does on this video is scrunch up her face and blurt out a laugh (which she often does at Brody).

We sadly left the kiddos at home last weekend with Auntie Kate for an adult weekend away in NC. Jon's friend Paul from college got married and we drove down with Uncle Nate. The drive was forever long but completely worth it. We had a wonderful weekend with everyone and are looking forward to Fire Island this August!!!

Brody and Alison played in this tent for a good hour before all hell broke loose (meaning Ali was playing with something of Brodys and he took it away from her). It was fun while it lasted anyways!!!
