Chunky Monkey

Ali is SO chunky, I love it! I thought that I'd post this video to showcase the rolls upon rolls that are on her legs and arms.

Visiting the Stroughs

Ali and Brody were able to visit their buddies Riley and Caroline and they had a great time! Auntie Meg (Ali's Godmother) was able to spend some quality time feeding Ali with Caroline while Brody and Riley played nicely. It was great to see them and we wish they lived closer. It was very sad to say goodbye but we'll see them again soon (hopefully)!!!

Too much turkey:)

As usual, we all trekked up to Rhode Island for our annual Thanksgiving dinner at Mimi's house. This year we were lucky enough to enjoy the company of Papa and the Iversons. We fried a turkey and enjoyed lots of yummy food including fried stuffing balls, a culinary concoction thought up by my dad and Jon after many adult beverages. They were AWESOME!!! We had a great time meeting baby Stella and hope we get to see her again soon!!

5 Months Old

Not having it
Wide eyed

Laughing at Papa

In her favorite spot...(of course it has to do with food)

Cranky face

I know I am late with this but here are Alison's 5 month pictures from last week. Ali has rolled over a few times now but doesn't do it unless it is EXTREMELY necessary (like Brody is playing near her). She loves Brody and Brody loves entertaining her. They really are the cutest!

On her 5 month birthday, we had to go to the Dr.'s because she had a fever and a cold. She checked out OK and just needed some TLC. She is completely fine now and we found out she weighs a healthy 18 lbs. No wonder my back hurts carrying her and the carseat!

Alison has also been exercising her lungs lately to the point where conversation within 5 feet of her is impossible. I have never heard a baby screach so loud in my entire life! Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night and does this and it is the most terrifying, heart stopping alarm clock you could wake up to ever. We never go and get her because she doesn't cry, but she does perform some nights for up to 30 minutes or so. It makes for a wonderful morning. I tried to get her screaming on video and was kind of successful. This video is a 4 out of 10 in Ali's volume scale. Can't wait for her actually start talking, I bet she wont stop.

Toy Story 3

We bought Brody Toy Story 3 when it came out last week and we have now watched it at least 20 times...seriously. I thought I'd try to capture the trance he gets in when this movie is on. He also likes when Ali sits next to him, but obviously, she is too interested in Brody to care much about anything else. It's only a matter of time before she is sitting all by herself!

Punkin Chunkin

Brody in the Mud
Yup, he's definately in the mud

Brody the bartender

2010 has brought us many new experiences, a family addition, a summer vacation, and now, the 25th Annual World Punkin Chunkin Championships in Deleware. Yes, we visited my redneck roots and foraged out 2 hours early in the morning to park our truck in the middle of a corn field where we watched pumpkins getting launched and catapaulted up to 3000 ft into the air for five hours. It was so much fun! Brody loved running around in the mud so much we had to strip him down before we returned home. Ali slept in her carrier for the most part and Jon, Nate, Stephanie, and I enjoyed the morning with some warm caffine and alcoholic beverages. All in all, a wonderful way to spend a Saturday (even if I had to use a port-a-potty with Alison strapped to my chest because she was sleeping, a feat that will never be topped).
