Football

Brody and I were playing football tonight in the house and he was being super cute...until he attacked me! Serves me right for playing ball in the house. Here is the raw footage...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Glue stick in hand

Getting glue ALL OVER THE PLACE (and eating it)

Hmmm...let me put this here...

This is SO fun!

Brody and I were cooped up in the house for the better part of last week due to the blizzards (yes...there were two). The Martha Stewart in me decided to have Brody make a Valentine's Day card for Daddy. All was well and good until he decided that he was NOT giving up the glue and threw all of the scraps on the floor, then scribbled on the table with crayons. It's amazing how quickly things go south these days!

Stop it Mommy!

When Brody gets mad at me he yells, "STOP IT" or "STOP IT MOMMY". I caught him yelling at me today with the camera which made him even more mad. Of course, I thought it was funny!

Swim Class 2010

Since swim class was such a success last winter, we decided to sign Brody up again for this winter. He absolutley LOVES it! It's difficult to keep him out of the water while we are waiting for the previous class to end. Last week, he even jumped in (and Daddy got yelled at by the teacher because the two of them were not supposed to be in the pool when there is another class going on!). I glad to see that he isn't afraid of the water and I am sure he is looking forward to a summer full of swimming with daddy!

Side Note: Brody had an unfortunate haircut last Friday. He has developed a fear of the clippers and it took three (really...) people to hold him down and cut his hair. I was in the middle of a nervous breakdown watching the whole thing so I told her to just buzz it. Well she did...the best she could. It's growing on me now. I think he looks too much like a little boy though!

Snowed in part 2

Since we have yet another blizzard warning today, we could not go out. This morning Brody and I played play-doh, colored, cooked and built forts. This past weekend we erected his tent in the livingroom...a lovely addition to our decor. He has brought all of his trucks and books in it and has his daily morning milk or juice in there while he reads a book. He is just like a little old man when he's in there! So far, we still have power but the roads look awful, the wind is howling and we are expecting another foot before all is said and done. Winter, winter, go away!

Blizzard "10 Part II

Its really hard!

Helping us dig out

What a great helper!

Sliding down the snow banks

Digging out

Here are some post storm pictures. The snow banks are easily 6 feet plus. Brody enjoyed helping us shovel out of the house. In fact, he REFUSED to let go of the shovel and we had to pry it out of his little hands. I will be sure to remind him of that ten year from now... The video below shows how high the unplowed banks are. As you can see, Brody was more interested in our neighbor's snowblower..."I wanna see, I wanna see!"

Blizzard '10

Last Saturday, we had the most snow that Maryland has ever seen. Mimi and Auntie Kate were stuck here until Monday! Brody loved going outside in the snow though (even if it did take us about 10 minutes to get him ready each time...). I think we ended up with about 27 inches of snow. These pictures are from the morning of the snow. We got an additional 10 inches of snow on top of that!

Snowed in

As many of you know, we have been snowed in for the last week. Brody got some fishing in though...
