Snow Day

We had our first real snow/ice storm this year in Maryland which means no school of course! Since we were stuck inside, Brody and I played all morning and he participated in a photo shoot. Here are some of the pictures of him reading, playing with his train, and playing in the kitchen. The video is kind of tricky because he kept on body slamming me when I had the camera on. He is such a little bugger to take a picture of, either making a silly face or not looking...must take after his parents!
Also, Brody has been quite the pig lately trying to pack on those pounds he lost with the stomach flu. I can't get the food quick enough to him! For lunch and breakfast today he had a quarter of a whole pineapple, a whole banana, cheerios, yogurt, 3 chicken nuggets, animal crackers, sweet potato fries, a cheese stick, 2 cups of milk, green beans and pasta. Between his eating and cutting 5 (yes really) teeth, his 4 molars plus the fourth bottom tooth, he has been quite the little monster! I think I need to buy stock in Trader Joe's and Motrin!
If you look closely in the sixth picture, you can see his new molars!

"All done"

Brody is starting to talk a little now. He says "what is it" however it sounds more like "whisit" as he points and mama, nonononono, and dada. At the babysitters, she taught him to shake his hands to say "all done", but recently, he has been saying "all done" too! He says it when he's done with everything: the bath, a toy, food, mom, its too funny. I have finally captured him on video doing it. I SWEAR he is saying it...he just needs a little practice, that's all!

The pictures are just for fun. The one is his new kissy face. He does that when you ask him for a kiss, and the others are just crazy Brody.

New 'do

Brody got his haircut again on Friday and this time, we cut it alot shorter. It was very difficult for her to cut it evenly because he was all over the place and as a result, one of his side burns got cut off and the front is uneven. Oh well, its better than the homeless baby look he had before. He looks so old now, it makes me sad:(

Back to normal...hopefully!

Well, today we got a clean bill of health from the doctor's at his yearly checkup, and frankly, it's about time! He couldn't get his shots because of his stomach virus and he did lose about 2 1/2 lbs total, but the doctor assured me that he'll gain it back in no time. We are especially happy that he is 31 inches tall (87th percentile) which gives us a ray of hope:) Here is a few pictures and video of him playing tonight in the bath. It is so nice to see him happy again!

The bug...

Sorry everyone about the lack of pictures lately, but Brody has been quite sick with a viral pneumonia and ear infection last week and a stomach bug (which he generously gave to me) this whole week. He is finally starting to eat today. He has been quite pathetic really. He has lost 2 or more lbs and is just lying around (definately not himself). Hopefully this weekend will bring him better luck! I am tired... Thank goodness Daddy and Nana were around to help out...they were lifesavers!

More New Hampshire Pics

Here are a few more pictures of us in NH. I especially love the picture with Caroline in the ugliest Boston hat ever! Someone found it at a local gas station up there and bought it for $2. It definately has a clear visor! The other pictures are of Rob and Becca's 8 week old baby Taylor (best baby ever by the way) on Meghan's dog Miley, Brody eating ice cream, and us hanging out in the kitchen.

Birthday Party #2 (Rhode Island)

Brody sure is a lucky duck! He gets to have 2 birthday parties! There were alot of people there to celebrate with him and we were so grateful to have them.

Tub time with Caroline

After we drove from NY to RI, we then ventured north to New Hampshire for New Year's. We stayed at Meg and Jon's lake house in Wolfeboro. We had so much fun. Jon and the boys went snowshoeing while us girls (plus Brody) stayed toasty warm inside. The windchill reached 20 below zero one night! This is Brody taking a tub with his buddy Caroline. They were so much fun to watch play. In the morning they would be super cute hugging and playing together and then, by 5 at night, it turned very sour, almost like a Ultimate fighting match with toy stealing, hitting and the other normal todddler behavior! We look forward to embarassing the two of them with these pictures and video in the future! We can't wait to see them again in the summer when Baby #2 arrives!

Brody's 1st Birthday (New York)

I can't believe that he's going to be 1 Friday! Here is one of the two parties we had for him. This

party was at Nana's house where he was given his first piece of cake. It was funny, he really didn't want anything to do with it! He just wanted to play with his scooter and ball pit with his cousins.

Sledding at Aunt Kathy's

In NY, there was ALOT of snow (at least by our standards which are very low lately...). We got Brody all bundled up and took him sledding. He had a great time going down the steep beach hill. Too bad Mom and Dad couldn't make the sled go faster. I realized then how out of shape I am. Carrying Brody and dragging a sled up a hill in deep snow is very hard work! We were also happy that we got to see all the Rockwell cousins and our very newest addition Jaydo who was not even a week old!

Christmas at Grampie's

After we spent Christmas morning with Nana, we went over to Grampie and Grandma Marie's house for more holiday cheer. We especially loved playing rockband while Brody took a well deserved nap!

Christmas Morning in NY

We all had a wonderful Christmas with our family. Here are some pictures of Brody on Christmas morning at Nana Rockwell's house. He really didn't care about opening up any presents but loved playing with the tissue paper. Here is also a video of him in his new ball pit that Santa brought. It is stayed in NY...:)
